Interviewed by holland in her home wearing Kokomo Vintage
Where do you live, what do you do?
I was born and raised in Martha's Vineyard, but currently living in Glassell Park, Los Angeles. I'm a mom, model/actress and vintage buyer.
What makes you happy?
Going on adventures, camping, being in nature, seeing my daughter smile, creating art and making memories because that's when I feel the most content. Simple things like going to the beach, watching the sunrise/sunset and walking down the streets of New York because it's so vibrant and true.
If you could change one thing about your industry what would it be and why? What do you want to see more of?
If I could change one thing about the industry it would be to create more roles for women and men of mixed race and multi-ethnic backgrounds because we are the future.
What's your relationship to fashion?
I'm a junky for vintage. I'm constantly digging and thrifting. Always looking for inspiration in the prints, color palette and garments I find. I love creating a story with the clothing, setting a vibe and taking photographs to make it look like a scene from the past.
What's one small thing we can do to help others?
Try shedding some light and positive energy throughout your day. People are so hard on themselves and others. I try and make a few strangers smile everyday.
